Aptamil and Kendamil: Our 2026 Milk and Feeding Winners

Aptamil and Kendamil picked up several awards in this year’s Bambini Baby Awards, with recognition for ready-to-drink milk, pre-measured tabs and powdered follow-on milk.

There’s quite a bit to cover between the two brands. Here are their 2026 results, along with a few details about the products behind them.

Aptamil’s two Gold wins

Aptamil Follow On Milk Ready To Drink 200ml took Gold for Best Portable Feeding Product. It comes already prepared, with no powder to measure or water to add—a straightforward format for families who use follow-on milk and want to take a bottle out with them.

Aptamil’s other Gold went to its Follow On Milk Tabs, supplied in packs of 24 sachets, for Best Feeding Product. The tabs also received Highly Commended recognition in Best Portable Feeding Product and Best Baby Formula.

If you haven’t come across them before, they’re pre-measured portions of formula that replace loose scoops of powder. They still need to be prepared with water according to the pack instructions, so they’re different from the ready-to-drink bottles. The sachets simply offer another way to measure and pack feeds.

Aptamil Follow On Milk also received Silver for Best Baby Formula, rounding off the brand’s results across the feeding categories. You can find more about the tab format on Aptamil’s product page.

Kendamil’s Classic, Organic and Goat results

Kendamil, the brand from Kendal Nutricare in Cumbria, received Gold for Best Baby Formula with its Classic Follow-On Milk. Its Goat Follow-On Milk took Bronze in the same category.

The Classic recipe uses whole cows’ milk, while the Goat range uses goats’ milk. Both are available as follow-on formulas; they are separate choices within the range, rather than steps that families need to move through.

There was recognition for the liquid format, too. Kendal Nutricare Classic Follow-On Milk Ready to Feed received Silver for Best Portable Feeding Product, alongside Aptamil’s Gold-winning 200ml bottle.

Two awards for Kendamil Organic

Kendamil also took Gold and Silver in Best Green Feeding Product: Gold for Organic Follow-On Milk and Silver for Organic Ready to Feed Follow On Milk.

These awards recognise two formats within its certified organic range. One needs measuring and mixing; the other comes prepared. For parents already using these products, that gives them a choice to fit their routine at home or away.

A note about follow-on milk

All the milks featured here are follow-on products for babies aged six months and over. There’s no need to switch to follow-on milk at six months: the NHS advises that first infant formula can remain a baby’s main milk drink throughout the first year.
